| Whether you need to be out of the water a day or a year, we can accommodate your boat storage needs. For many boats, storage rates are only $250 per month. Trailered boats are generally only $60.
We have a limited number of preferred storage spaces for boats on trailers. A new Pender County boat ramp is right next door, offering great recreational access to Topsail Sound, Topsail Inlet and Onslow Bay.
Many consider Anchors Away Boatyard in Hampstead an excellent alternative to marinas for longer term large-boat storage. First, our storage rates are generally more favorable than marinas. Second, because your boat is safe from wind and tide, insurance can be less expensive than storage in marinas.
Often, travelers along the ICW will use Anchors Away as a place to leave their boat on the hard for a few months while they explore the rest of North Carolina, or travel home to visit friends and family.
Our 68-Ton Travel Lift, together with our forklift and boom crane, can safely remove even the largest of craft from the water and transport it to our 5-acre storage area. Anchors Away Boat yard provides boat storage for brokerages, winter storage, insurance storage, foreign yacht storage and weather-related storage. We can also arrange transportation, removal, and launching to and from our facility. |
